Hi!

I'm Joanna. A freelance photographer.



I trained in Illustration at Falmouth University, and after a brief stint in New York working on producing a fashion show I went on to study my MA in Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion.

I dabbled in fashion production, working on shoots for US Vogue and Alexander McQueen amongst others whilst assisting stylists and photographers such as Grace Coddington and David Sims, before focusing more fully on my freelance work. 

I've been fortunate enough to have work exhibited and published internationally. My favourite subject to photograph are portraits and documentary shoots, I love being a fly-on-the-wall, travelling to new places, capturing all the details and emotions around me.



When I'm not photographing, I am mostly hanging out and exploring with my two sons, and my husband who is also a lens geek, working as a film-maker. You can see his work here: seanwhiteweddingfilms.co.uk
